Client Reviews

We are extremely grateful for Tshering’s support designing two rooms in our residence—a large open-space and L-shaped living and dining area, as well as the conversion of a bedroom into a sauna room and retreat. We could not have imagined how beautifully the spaces would turn out. A previously empty space that had only a chair and bookshelf beautifully transformed into a reading area and fireplace. She worked well within our constraints (budget and our wish to keep the original flooring). She and her team are top-notch—very professional. We ended up inviting her back to design a full lighting concept for the home. Looking forward to seeing those results! Thank you!

Behind Diaz-Caneja Interiors

Luxembourg builds well. The architecture is sound, the construction is precise, and the properties are genuinely valuable. But something is often missing.

Walk into most homes here and you will notice it — spaces that are technically correct but emotionally empty. Proportions without warmth. Finishes without depth. Rooms that have been built, but never really designed.

This gap isn't a criticism. It reflects how the market developed: with architects and developers at the centre, and interior design — as a distinct, considered discipline — rarely given a seat at the table. What filled the space instead were decorators and cabinetry companies: skilled at their craft, but not the same thing.

Diaz-Caneja Interiors was founded to answer that gap directly.

I am Tshering. I grew up in Luxembourg, and I have spent years transforming properties here — learning how a space can shift when you treat it not as a technical problem, but as a human one. The homes I worked on sold well, but more importantly, people kept saying the same thing: these spaces feel different. They have soul.

That observation became a conviction, and the conviction became a studio.

The name Diaz-Caneja carries my family's lineage — one that includes poets and painters. It is a reminder that what we do here is not simply decoration. It is the careful, deliberate craft of making a space feel like home.
